Trailer Switch

No pics today, no real construction progress since the last post. Another big step in the right direction though, we acquired the trailer and spent today (the whole day) switching out. It was a long day, at least we had nice weather. Since the old trailer had been "modified" by the previous owner and we had further "modified" it in order to secure the hull for stringer replacement. We first had to un-modify it and then go through a series of block up the boat, pull out the trailer, stop reblock, unblock, move the trailer, stop.....for about 2.5 hours until we got her free and then did the reverse in order to pull the new trailer under....it would have been a little easier had the new trailer had rollers as opposed to bunks, but hopefully this will be the only time we have to do this.
