Pre-finishing Flooring

Brutally hot today in Charlotte, so work was slow, even with 3 fans. I was able to sand out the patched section from yesterday on the bow, it will paint nicely:

We also applied a little cab to the joints between the raised sections of flooring and will be coming back to sand that and then wrap it with some cloth and then sand it out and Durabak:

Moving into the cuddy we have opted to keep a small lip at the floor in order to prevent water from moving that way, again it was cab'd into place and will be sanded and then wrapped and sanded again:

here is an interior shot of the new addition:

we also applied some more interlux-interstripping on the hull and have come to the conclusion that we will most likely have to sand the 4 coats of bottom/house paint off in order to get a good base for the new paint- that is going to s u c k!
